Terms of use and submissions
Effective October 15, 2026 ยท Policy version 2026-10-15
Effective date: October 15, 2026. Operator/contact: Menifee Civic; parallaxmediacollective@gmail.com.
Menifee Civic provides independent news and general public information. It is not an official government source, professional adviser or emergency notification service. Check source dates and original records before relying on changing project, compensation or meeting information. We do not guarantee continuous availability, comprehensive coverage or automatic updates.
Newsletter signup is optional and separate from sending a suggestion. Its checkbox requests future daily Menifee Civic newsletters; email ownership has not yet been verified, and no newsletters are currently sent. Request removal by contacting us.
You may read and link to our content. Copyright, licenses, fair use and applicable law govern copying. We do not claim ownership of public facts or third-party material. Do not evade access controls, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, interfere with the service, or use personal information for unlawful harassment. Lawful criticism and legally protected research are not prohibited.
The suggestion feature requires confirmation that you are 18 or older and agree to these submission terms. Submission time and policy version are recorded. Your email is used to follow up on the request and is not newsletter consent. Send only material you are entitled to share lawfully. Distinguish personal observation from hearsay and opinion. Do not send threats, knowingly false factual claims, malware, confidential credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. Submissions are unverified leads and are not automatically published. No submission creates employment, compensation, confidentiality or a duty to investigate.
You retain your rights in submitted material. To operate the suggestion feature, we request permission to receive, store, review and investigate what you send for editorial and administrative purposes. This is not a blanket license to publish your identity, creative work or confidential material. Publication requires appropriate permission or another lawful basis. Privacy requests follow our privacy notice and applicable law. We may reject abusive submissions or suspend a feature for security or operational reasons.
External links are not endorsements, and linked services have separate policies. To the extent law permits, the service is provided as available without implied warranties, and the operator disclaims liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. No disclaimer excuses fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. No statement here guarantees immunity for unlawful reporting.
Contractual restrictions require enforceable assent where applicable. Reading an article does not release a subject's claims or waive mandatory legal rights. A privacy notice is not consent to unrelated processing. We do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a shortened claim deadline, a blanket reader indemnity or a release of all claims through these terms.
California law applies to the extent permitted, without removing mandatory protections that apply elsewhere. Contacting us does not delay legal deadlines or urgent remedies. We will date material revisions and seek new assent where required. These policies do not represent that an LLC has been formed.
